Avoiding Potholes
We like going places, seeing family, friends, new and old places. Sometimes we travel for work, sometimes for recreation. As we are working, we must stay connected, you know, the Cell, the Wi-Fi. We need the right plans and equipment, routers and boosters. We might use Verizon, Sprint, AT & T and T-Mobile, Starlink all of them across the country. It’s a big part of the life.
Then there’s fuel, fueling, DEF, roads, bridges, routes and where to overnight on a long trip. Loves, Flying-J, Pilot and Travel America (TA) truck stops are our friends. They’ve become sophisticated with scales, very important, supplies and equipment. Some offer their truck services and overnight parking with connections, water and electric. It’s not that hard, we have a lot of friends. We have Apps, Maps, GPS and Satellite views. We will help you with all the decisions.
Simple Guidelines
- You can’t maintain the speed limit. If you choose a destination 1,000 miles away, it’s likely going to take three days. Two if you’re working hard. Avoid that.
- Before hitting the road, walk around, twice. Don’t hurry, open the driver window, take off slowly and listen.
- There are nice fuel discounts through memberships and Truck Stops with RV Services, supplies and equipment for the road.
- We use caution, we are careful and practice safety.
