Dinosaur National Monument

7/18-7/20/22  Kids of all ages have fun exploring Dinosaur National Monument. We visited Jensen, UT.  and the RV Park, Outlaw Trail. The operator was helpful, and the park was clean & functional.  Just 10 min. to entrance.  Jensen is a quiet small town.  Everything you could need is 20 miles to Vernal.  DNM may be a hidden treasure.  Only 350,000 visitors per year.  Amazing artifacts, fossils, bones and petroglyphs.  Great Star Gazing and Sunsets.  Paddle the Green River.  Small RV and Tent Camping available.  Be sure to see the Josie Basset Cabin.  We really had a great time and there’s a lot more fun to be had in this area.  We hear there are dinosaur tracks in the rock we didn’t see!  We plan to go back one day, come with us?  https://www.nps.gov/dino/index.htmhttp://outlawtrailrvpark.com/,    https://www.nps.gov/dino/learn/historyculture/josiebassettmorris.htm

The Park is only 10 minutes from Outlaw Trail RV Park. There is a lot to do in the one hour radius.

The River Bed includes Fossils and Bones

Kids of all of ages will have a great time.

There is a lot to study and the area is vast so run, make noise and have a great time!

There are a lot of petroglyphs in the area. You’ll kick yourself if you miss McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs. There are two sets to see by two easy hikes. https://www.utahsadventurefamily.com/mcconkie-ranch-petroglyphs/ https://www.nps.gov/places/mckeespringpetroglyphs.htm

Please share us with your friends and we hope, we will see you out there! R&M!
